PBL stands for problem-based learning which is essentially "a teaching method where real-world problems are used as the vehicle to promote student learning of concepts." PBL improves students' high-level thinking as it allows them to analyze, create, and defend. In addition, students will strengthen their critical thinking skills and presentation skills.
Wonder Academy's PBL program is geared towards students who love solving problems. This program utilizes carefully designed problems that challenge students' skills and techniques in self-directed learning and team participation skills. Students will become detectives as they work with real-world problems and come up with their own solutions. The PBL program will incorporate creating games, technology, and more!
